New York Institute of Art and Design Launches Floral Design Course
The New York Institute of Art and Design has just launched a brand new online course in Floral Design. The Complete Course in Floral Design is the eighth course offered by NYIAD, the leading provider of online education for creative professionals all over the world.
Students who enroll in the New York Institute of Art and Design’s Floral Design Course will be introduced to the exciting world of floral arrangements in all their shapes, sizes, colors, meanings, and purposes. Starting with the basics, students will learn the history of floral design and how it impacts modern design practices. Professional floral designers will address the principles of good floral design and show students how to apply them in order to develop their own design style and technique.
The online Floral Design Course includes hours of HD video, featuring real life designers demonstrating techniques they use every day. At the end of each section of the course, students will have the opportunity to complete projects designed to put their newfound skills to the test. These projects will be evaluated by professional floral designers, who act as the students’ mentors and coaches, helping them to succeed in the field.
“The New York Institute of Art and Design has always been committed to making a creative education convenient and affordable,” said NYIAD Director Jacob Boller. “That’s why we are so proud to be able to offer an online floral design course that students can take in their free time, from anywhere in the world.”
